Working with HEERY International’s Atlanta office, Taylor•Whitney Architects has continued its longstanding relationship with Western Kentucky University, with the design of the $38 million expansion and renovation of Smith Stadium.
This four phase project is under construction and scheduled for completion in time for the 2008 football season.

  The initial phases included renovation of the existing stands and site infrastructure for the expansion. Phase III consists of the new west grandstand and north berm area adding 9112 new seats and executive boxes. Phase IV is the renovation of the existing facilities located beneath the East Grandstand. This includes locker rooms, offices and classrooms.
